The Jungle King Keyblade is obtained automatically after finishing your visit to Deep Jungle. Once you’ve defeated the boss and locked the keyhole, the game will give this Keyblade to you.
The Jungle King is a much longer weapon than the Kingdom Key, as well as a solid boost to power. However, this comes at the cost of a much lower critical hit rate–to the point where you’ll hardly ever land them.
It’s also the first Keyblade upgrade that you’ll get in Kingdom Hearts.
Is the Jungle King Worth Using?
Deep Jungle is the first world that naturally awards you with a new keyblade, and as such, it will be the first upgrade most players get to the basic Kingdom Key.
So while the Jungle King doesn’t have enough punch or special features to make it worthwhile for the whole game, it serves as a stronger weapon for your time from Deep Jungle up until you get your next Keyblade.
