Getting the Kingdom Key is as simple as starting the game. Once you finish the first two tutorial days on Destiny Islands and everything starts going to shadows, you’ll obtain this keyblade as you approach Riku on the beach.
The Kingdom Key is the most basic Keyblade in the game.
It doesn’t have any special attributes and only offers a minor boost to strength, but it’s reliable and a sturdy enough weapon to get you and Sora through the first few worlds before you can snag something better.
At the very least, it’s better than a wooden sword.
