The Lionheart Keyblade is the prize for clearing the 20th round in Olympus’ Hades Cup. This fight will pit you against both Cloud and Leon. The Hades Cup itself is unlocked after closing the keyhole at Hollow Bastion.
As for its use, the Lionheart is a very well-rounded weapon. It has the perks of powering up magical activity as well as a beefy bit of brawn. It’s a good fit for any build of Sora you may have. It even has a great reach.
Is Lionheart Worth Using?
Depends entirely on when you get it.
If you muscle your way through the first 20 battles as soon as the Hades Cup opens up, then yes. It’s nearly as strong as the Oblivion (which you can get during your time at Hollow Bastion) but with the bonus of extra MP and magic buffs.
If you wait until the final dungeon to get the Lionheart then it’s probably just gonna be window dressing for you. With stuff like the Ultima Weapon and One-Winged Angel available, this weapon falls to the wayside. Don’t talk about it in the past tense, though!
