The Metal Chocobo is obtained by defeating Cloud in the Pegasus Cup at the Olympus Coliseum. The Pegasus Cup is unlocked after closing the keyholes in both Neverland and Halloween Town.
This is a very beefy keyblade and perfect for guard countering.
It also has a super-long reach and if you get it as soon as the Cup opens up, the strongest available keyblade. It suffers in both magic prowess and its non-existent critical hit abilities.
Is Metal Chocobo Worth Using?
If you get it as soon as the Pegasus Cup opens up, then yes.
Otherwise–nah. If you wait too long after it becomes available then you can get Oblivion or Oathkeeper, both of which are better and more well-rounded.
However, for all its faults, the Metal Chocobo has one of the strongest recoil values and it’s perfect for defending. If you like to guard and use the counter ability, this is the blade for you.
