The Genji Shield is obtained by defeating Yuffie in the Hades Cup at the Olympus Coliseum. Yuffie is the 44th fight out of fifty, so she’s fairly early on in the tournament.
The Hades Cup unlocks after clearing the Hero, Pegasus, and Hercules Cups.
As for the shield itself, this is a large-style shield with a high attack. It offers decent protection but excels in attacking, as the description suggests.
Is the Genji Shield Worth Using?
Yes.
This is a solid weapon that’s fairly easy to obtain and is an upgrade to Herc’s Shield, which is what most players would probably be using. Getting this as soon as it’s available will help you grind for Goofy’s best equipment as well.
