The Fantasista staff is obtained via Moogle Synthesis. The recipe unlocks after you make 30 unique items at the shop.
To make the Fantasista you’ll need Fury Stones, Power Stones, Mythril Stones, and Energy Stones – all of which are dropped from endgame, high-level heartless. So you can only obtain this weapon after opening up the final dungeon. The exact recipe is as follows:
This staff is the strongest magic-focused weapon for Donald (and maybe even the game). It offers a very high bonus to MP as well as juicing up Donald’s casting power.
Is the Fantasista Worth Using?
Yes – and it’s not even a close call.
Donald has two primary “ultimate weapons” in Kingdom Hearts 1: the Meteor Strike and this.
Whereas the Meteor Strike is made for physical, the Fantasista is made for magic and it’s very good at what it does. If you’re inclined to have a Donald that can decimate fields of foes with his spells, then this is the staff for you.
