You obtain the Save the Queen staff by finishing Olympus’ Hades Cup with just Sora. You unlock this option after clearing the Hades Cup normally one time.
Save the Queen is a strong contender for Donald’s ultimate weapon in KH1.
It has a high strength as well as a mighty magic boost. It’s much stronger than 90% of Donald’s other weapons and worth the effort.
Is Save the Queen Worth Using?
Yes.
This was the best weapon for Donald in the original 2002 release of Kingdom Hearts, and still one of the best he has in the HD/Final Mix versions.
Granted in the Final Mix version of the game there are other weapons that are comparable, but none really exceed it. Go for broke and get this thing! It’s royally good (sorry).
