The Warhammer is purchasable from the Traverse Town item shop. It’s available for 450 Munny after defeating the Guard Armor in the Third District.
As an early-game weapon, the Warhammer’s stats aren’t much to write home about. But they do show the simple dichotomy in playstyle that Donald’s staves present. He can either bonk his enemies with strength, or stack MP and cast all the magic.
Is Warhammer Worth Using?
There are two factors into deciding whether it’s a good fit for you: Munny and playstyle.
If you prefer a true caster Donald, then anything that affects his MP isn’t gonna fly.
But if you’ve got your eye on a physical duck then this is a good start.
Honestly, when the Warhammer becomes available, Donald doesn’t have too much MP and you won’t know much magic. So it might be better overall to give him this type of reliable melee weapon at this point in the game.
