Valor Form is obtained from the 3 Good Fairies during Sora’s first visit to Mysterious Tower after the prologue. This form consumes 3 (three) gauges from the Form Gauge, and it requires Goofy as one of your party members.
Valor Form greatly powers up Sora’s Strength, and also increases his running speed and jumping distance. He also gains an additional ground combo attack when using this Form.
However, Sora cannot Guard any incoming attacks, nor use any kind of Magic during Valor Form.
Form Levels
Leveling up this form will allow Sora to use some of the Valor Form abilities while not in a Drive Form, namely High Jump and Combo Plus. You can find and equip them in the ‘Abilities’ tab.

How To Level Up
Valor Form gains EXP by the amount of hits you deal to the enemies. The more hits you deal to a heartless, the more EXP you will gain. Notably this goes by the amount of hits, not kills.
Naturally, enemies with a larger HP bar would be a great opportunity to level up your Valor Form.
Bosses are good for this, but there are only so many bosses out there. Also, some bosses only fight Sora 1v1, so you won’t be able to change to Valor Form without Goofy.
We’ve curated the best farming methods below to help you level up Valor Form fast.
Method #1: Mushroom V (Fastest)
Location: The Cave of Wonders: Treasure Room, Agrabah
Mushroom V is the perfect “enemy” to farm EXP for Valor Farm, as its health regenerates at a very fast rate every time you hit it.
Moreover, even if you killed it, Mushroom V will respawn whenever you re-entered the room.
Here’s how you can get to its location:
Start by warping to The Cave of Wonders: Chasm of Challenges save point in Agrabah and then enter the doorway entrance near the save point.
Once there, you will be greeted by Mushroom V.
Even if you have finished the Mushroom XIII quest, Mushroom V will still be there.
However, if there are any story events in Agrabah (Sora’s first and second visit to the world), Mushroom V will not spawn. In that case, you could use another farming method.
Method #2: Hollow Bastion Farming
Location: Postern, Hollow Bastion – Crystal Fissure, Hollow Bastion
There is a route you can take in Hollow Bastion, in which you go from one save point to another with plenty of enemies with large HP in between.
Tip: Do not deactivate your Valor Form or let it run out when you don’t have any Drive Gauge left if you are planning to farm again.
Here’s the route in detail:
Start by warping to Postern save point in Hollow Bastion.
Then go to the gray staircase leading up to Restoration Site.
From there, beat all of the enemies in the area and then continue straight. The road will take you to Bailey.
Follow the right path and beat every enemy that you encounter in the way. The path should lead you to Castle Gate.
There shouldn’t be any enemies in Castle Gate (as it is an area for Mushroom IX).
Follow the road and it will take you to Ravine Trail.
This is the area that has the most enemies in the route.
Follow the road and beat every enemy that gets in your way. The road then will take you to the end of the route, Crystal Fissure.
This is the end of the route.
If you want to repeat the route for more EXP, teleport back to the World Map while still in Valor Form to go back to your Gummi Ship. Then warp back to the Postern save point.
You should have your Drive Gauge filled again, ready for another run.
