Wisdom Form

Wisdom Form is obtained after clearing the Timeless River world in Disney Castle. This form consumes 3 (three) gauges from the Form Gauge, and it requires Donald as one of your party members.

Wisdom Form greatly powers up Sora’s Magic, and also increases his spell casting speed and maneuvering speed.

This form also changes how Sora attacks enemies, with his attacks being no longer physical, but now being ranged attacks that are based on his Magic stat. In fact, the ‘Attack’ button is changed to ‘Shoot’.

Not only that, Sora also slides on the ground during this Form, which increases his movement speed up to 40%. This also lets Sora move around while casting spells or using items.

Note: Sora is not able to do any physical attacks during Wisdom Form. Also, Sora’s combos are more limited, with him not being able to perform any midair combos with the Form.

Form Levels

Leveling up Wisdom Form to certain levels will allow Sora to use some of the Wisdom Form abilities when not in a Drive Form, namely Quick Run and MP Haste.

Wisdom Form gains EXP by defeating Heartless while in Wisdom Form. All the Heartless you defeat will grant you +1 EXP, regardless of how strong they are.

You won’t get any EXP if the enemies you defeat aren’t Heartless. So grinding Nobodies will not get you any EXP in this form.

The best approach is to battle in areas with very weak Heartless that have low HP bars, such as Shadows or Nocturnes.

Below is a list of our suggested grinding methods to farm EXP for Wisdom Form.

Method #1: Timeless River Farm (Fastest)

Location: Mickey’s House, Timeless River – Pier, Timeless River

Timeless River is one of the only worlds in KH2.5 where there are only Heartless enemies, making it the best world to farm at. Here’s the best way to farm in Timeless River:

Warp to the Hall of the Cornerstone save point in Disney Castle and interact with the door next to the cornerstone (the giant orb in the room). The door will lead you to Cornerstone Hill in Timeless River.

Once you get there, there should be four window portals. Enter the rightmost portal and that will take you to Mickey’s House.

When you get in the house, transform to Wisdom Form and defeat the Heartless in this area.

After clearing the Heartless in Mickey’s House, stay in Wisdom Form and go back to Cornerstone Hill and head to the Pier, which is at the path closest to the door.

Once there, clear all of the enemies like you did in Mickey’s House.

After that, go back to Cornerstone Hill and head back to Disney’s Castle from the door.

If you can do this without losing Wisdom Form, you will refill your Drive Gauge to max as soon as you spawn back in Disney Castle.

Then you can re-enter Timeless River to respawn the enemies when you head back inside.

Method #2: Beast’s Castle Farm

Location: The West Wing, Beast’s Castle

Beast’s Castle also has primarily all Heartless enemies, so it offers another fantastic grinding spot.

Warp to The Beast’s Room save point in Beast’s Castle to start.

Then head to the door which will lead you to The West Wing.

Once there, clear all of the enemies in the area with Thunder/Thundara/Thundaga.

After that, if you’d like to farm more, just head back to The Beast’s Room and while in Wisdom Form, warp to the World Map from the save point.

This will refill your Drive Gauge so you can enter the world again, go into Wisdom Form again and farm the same Heartless spawns for more EXP.
