Mythril Crystals only come from two places: chests or Moogle Synthesis. They do not drop from any enemy.

You can find 15 in chests and the rest is up to you.

Making Mythril Crystals

For each Mythril Crystal you’ll need the exact amount of ingredients listed above.

We have guides on how to farm each of these items individually, so here we’ll just generally summarize the main way to farm each of them for optimal efficiency. But if you need help on finding any specific material just click the link in the table above.

Dense Gems drop from Samurai Nobody. The best place to farm them is in the Mansion: Basement Hall in Twilight Town.

Dense Crystals are dropped by Berserkers. They can be farmed in The World that Never Was all across various areas.

Twilight Gems are dropped by Assassins. They can be farmed at the Hall of Empty Melodies in The World that Never Was.

Twilight Crystals are dropped by Sorcerers. They can be most easily found at Naught’s Skyway in the World that Never Was.

Serenity Crystals can be obtained from Bulky Vendors. You have to get a Prime Capsule prize by waiting until their last life bar before triggering their Reaction Command.

An alternative method is to synthesize Serenity Crystals yourself, but it’s often much faster to learn the Bulky Vendor farming approach.

Using Mythril Crystals

Thankfully, you only need 17 Serenity Crystals to make one of everything that requires them via synthesis.

This means after getting all the chest locations for these crystals, you’ll just have to make 2 of them in synthesis.
