Synthesis Recipe |

You can only get Mythril Stones in two ways in KH2:
- Finding them in chests
- Or making them via Moogle Synthesis
You’ll need about 40 Stones to make one of everything that requires them. This means that you need to utilize both sources of Stones.
Let’s take a look at both the chests and crafting required.

Below is a table listing every chest location that contains Mythril Stones, along with generally where they’ll be located in each world.

Mythril Stones are an upgrade of Mythril Shard and as such, use the same recipe but with the addition of a Serenity Shard.
Here’s which enemies drop them and where you can easily find these enemies to farm them:
Dragoons can be found in the Twilight Town Mansion Library.
For Snipers, these nobodies can be found in the Hall of Empty Melodies (where you found Xigbar).
Gamblers can be found in the Moon Chamber in the Sorcerer’s Tower in Twilight Town.
Dancers are easiest to farm in the Basement Corridor. This is off the Computer Room in the Twilight Town Mansion.
Serenity Shards drop from a lot of different Heartless, but the most efficiently reliable ones are Assault Riders in the Land of Dragons. They also drop Dark Stones as well.
Using Mythril Stones
You’ll need around 40 Mythril Stones to make one of everything that requires them via synthesis.
This number may fluctuate a little depending on both your use of Energy Crystals and your Moogle’s level–both things that affect how many items are required.
A lot of items use Mythril Stones in this game.
There’s a lot of good stuff you can get via synthesis, so it’s probably worth it to really push for them.
