There are only 7 Orichalcum+ is the entire game of Kingdom Hearts 2.
They all have specific locations and you’ll need to be close to the end of the game to obtain them all.
Let’s look at each location, as well as how to use them once you’ve gotten them all.
1. Atlantica “A New Day is Dawning” Reward
You get an Orichalcum+ by clearing the last song, ‘A New Day is Dawning’. It’s a fairly easy song to clear.
If you’ve been keeping up with each new episode as they appear, you should have no problem either clearing the song or getting the 30,000 point high score.
2. Clearing 100 Acre Wood
Simply clear the final episode of the 100 Acre Wood for this Orichalcum.
This involves finding all the pages and clearing each one’s area. Here’s where all the Torn Pages are:
- Disney Castle – Library
- Pride Lands – Oasis
- Hollow Bastion – Crystal Fissure
- The Land of Dragons – Throne Room
- Agrabah – Ruined Chamber
3. Moogle Synthesis Shop
The Synthesis Moogle will reward you with an Orichalcum+ after you turn in one of every different synthesis item in the game.
A lot of them you’ll get just by progressing through the game but there are a bunch you’ll have to go out of your way to get.
4. Twilight Town Chest
Head to Sunset Terrace and jump up to this balcony to get this chest.
You can use the nearby Tram to get up there or if you have the High Jump ability, you can just hop up.
5. Space Paranoids Chest
The Central Computer Mesa is the area with the save point right before the boss. The Orichalcum+ is in the first chest when you get off the ship.
A super-easy one to get.
6. The World That Never Was Chest
Right before you take the bridge into the Castle proper, head around the corner from the Moogle Shop and there’s a chest on a little outcropping. It’s kind of hard to miss.
Open it and get that O+.
7. Clearing The Goddess of Fate Cup
This is one method that could take you some time.
You have to clear all preceding Cups before the Goddess of Fate opens up. They open up at periodic points throughout the game.
The Goddess of Fate Cup is Sora only, no summons.
It takes a fair amount of practice and knowledge of the game’s combat mechanics. Still, if you made it that far in the Cup progression, you shouldn’t have a problem with it.
Using Orichalcum+
There’s only one synthesis recipe that requires Orichalcum+: the Ultima Weapon.

Yes, the recipe says you need 13 Orichalcum+… but since there are only 7 in the game, you’re gonna have to get crafty with Energy Crystals.
Applying an Energy Crystal to a synth chops all required materials needed in half. So that 13 turns into a manageable 7.
And if you have a higher-level Moogle you can reduce the other ingredient need just a bit more.
It is totally worth it, too. Look at that bad boy!
It increases STR by 7 and MAG by 6 and has the incredible MP Hastega ability. It really is worth all the effort.
