Best Farming Spot |
|
The best way to farm for Power Stones is to fight Lunar Bandits and Silver Rocks at the Bazaar in Agrabah.
Here’s the most ideal farming route:
Enter Agrabah from the Palace Gates save point and head right into the Bazaar. Here you’ll find a bunch of both enemies and you can just mop up, then exit to the Gates to reset at the save point.
It’s very convenient that both enemies that drop Power Stones live together in the same area. It makes the grind much quicker.
Luna Bandits
Like any bandit worth their salt, these Lunas like to attack in groups. They’ll always appear in groups of three (or more).
This isn’t great because Luna Bandits can be fairly deadly, especially if you’re low level.
They use their moon-shaped blades super efficiently.
They attack really fast and with multiples of them, it’s easy to get caught in the flurry. Getting stunlocked to the game over screen is surprisingly easy–so be careful!
Staying in the air is a good strat to control the situation.
Reflect magic is another good technique. Don’t be afraid to spam Reflect when surrounded, that’ll do the trick pretty well.
Worse comes to worse you can just put some distance between the two of you and blast away with Thunder or Blizzard spells.
Switching to Wisdom Form is another great long-range tactic.
You may also find that it’s best to play aggressively. Being too defensive may leave you open too much, so get in there and bop and bash your way out. Try not to move too much though, it’s easy to accidentally spawn another group and fighting six or more Luna Bandits can be a real disaster.
Silver Rock
Rarely ever appearing alone, these little silver bois appear with other Heartless and act as support.
They fly around at high speed and do one of two things: fly at Sora in a ramming attack or turn into an orb of light in order to deal minor AEO damage.
When they turn into an orb, you’ll have a chance to catch a Reaction Command that grabs that orb and tosses it at a nearby enemy.
This is called ‘Shift Shot’ and it’s super helpful.
Shift Shot can deal a lot of damage. This is especially great when fighting for Power Stones, because it can one-hit KO Luna Bandits if it hits directly.
Overall, Silver Rocks aren’t hard, but can prove to be an annoyance if there is already a lot of other Heartless activity going on.
Watch for that Reaction Command and you’ll be golden.
Using Power Stones
You’ll need 8 Power Stones to make one of everything that requires them. But since they’re used to make Elixirs, it may be worth your time to get a few more in case you’d want to synthesize extra Elixirs for your bag.
The accessories you can make ain’t too shabby either!
And, as a bonus, you get to get good at fighting Luna Bandits! That’s an important skill to put on your resume.
