Best Farming Spot
  • Radiant Garden – Cave of Remembrance: Engine Chamber

The best place to farm Remembrance Stones is by defeating Heartless in the Engine Chamber located in Radiant Garden’s Cave of Remembrance.

The Engine Chamber is the fourth area of the Cave and requires LV3 of all Limit Form movement abilities:

  • Quick Run
  • Air Dodge
  • Glide

This means you won’t be able to access this area until you obtain, and level up, Sora’s Final Form.

Once you reach the Engine Chamber, stick to the entrance for your farming. All the enemies in this first part (pictured above) drop Stones and you can infinitely reset them by leaving and re-entering the area.

Unlike (most) other Heartless in the game, these guys have the courtesy of respawning after just one screen transition (normally you’d need two).

Let’s talk more about the Engine Chamber, how to reach it, and more importantly, how to survive.

Cave of Remembrance: Engine Chamber

Remember to always pay attention to your Engine Chamber light / Kingdom Hearts II - Final Mix
Remember to always pay attention to your Engine Chamber light.

The first obstacle to farming in the Engine Chamber is reaching it.

The whole Cave of Remembrance requires skilled use of all of Sora’s movement abilities.

This means leveling up all of his Drive Forms, including the elusive Final Form.

Once you’ve done that, you can high jump your way through the Depths and into the Mineshaft area.

This is a pure platforming segment where you have to make use of air currents and moving platforms to get through.

You’ll also have to drop down at one point to turn on three valves and engage the moving platforms. This can be kind of easy to miss, but you only need to do it once.

Lance Warriors

At the farm spot, you’ll fight three types of Heartless: Aerial Champs, Lance Warriors, and Air Vikings.

These are all variations of enemies you’ve found before, so they honestly shouldn’t be too bad.

They’re a far cry easier than the initial enemies in the Depths.

Use Magnet and Reflect liberally and always be on the catch for Reaction Commands.

Remember, if things do get too hairy, the exit door is right behind you. And it’s super easy to scoot out and catch your breath.

Once you get into a groove, this is a fantastic spot for Remembrance Stones and you’ll be swimming in them soon enough.

Using Remembrance Stones

The Gang’s All Here / Kingdom Hearts II - Final Mix
The Gang’s All Here!

You’ll need 12 Remembrance Stones to make one of everything that requires them via synthesis.

The stuff that you can cobble together is…fine. It’s just fine.

The Centurion is a great strength weapon for Donald (it’s his strongest as far as STR goes) and the shock charm is perfect when fighting bolt-based baddies.
