The Caribbean

You can only find crabs in The Caribbean world, specifically in the underwater areas around various islands.

Here’s a good route to follow for getting crabs for your recipes:

Warp in from the Huddled Isles save point and dive into the small body of water behind you.

Search this area to find Crabs from a number of spots in this area.

To get Crabs, you will have to examine the dormant lobsters around the area.

Next warp to the Isla de los Mástiles save point and dive into the sea close to the ship. Search the area nearby to find more lobster spots that give Crabs.

To reach the rest of the islands, you will need your ship.

Hop on board the Leviathan (or Black Pearl if you’ve unlocked it) and fast travel to the Isle of Luck. Here, dive underwater and circle around the outer rim to find more lobster spots that give Crabs.

Similarly, travel to the Horseshoe Island and Sandbar Isle and search the underwater areas here for lobster spots that give more Crabs.

Note: A Lot of lobster spots around the islands don’t always spawn every time you land in the world. If you can’t find any lobsters, re-enter from the closest save point and search the same location again.
