The Caribbean

Quail can be found in the Docks and Settlement areas of Port Royal.

To find it, land at the Docks save point and head west.

From the Docks save point, head for the western building to find Quail / Kingdom Hearts 3

Enter the building near the pier entrance and look for a yellow crate at the far end. Break the crate to obtain Quail.

Next, warp to the Settlement save point and turn right towards the side of the house nearby. Smash the yellow crate here to get more Quail.

Then you can leave & warp back in from any save point to make the crates reappear.

San Fransokyo

You can also find Quail in the Chinese lunch boxes scattered around The City in San Fransokyo.

First, warp in from the South District save point and head east.

Climb the stairway near the eastern edge to reach an elevated walkway. Look for a lunch box on a bench near the center of the walkway to randomly get Quail.

Next, head north towards the Central District.

Look for a lunch box under the tall building that looks like a circular cluster on the minimap. Hit the lunch box to randomly receive Quail.

Finally, head over to the North District save point and follow the bend towards the northwest to find another lunch box on a bench that randomly contains Quail.

Reset all lunch boxes by re-entering from a save point.

Note: Due to their randomness, it can take a while before you manage to get any Quail. To speed up the search, alternate between the day or night variations of the same save point to reach the spot quickly during your reruns.
