There’s a Chinese lunch box in the Laugh Floor area of Monster’s Inc. that contains Rice. Here’s where it’s located:

Warp in from the Lobby & Offices save point and head northeast towards the Laugh Floor.

Look to your right on the counter at the entrance of the Laugh Floor to find a lunch box that always gives Rice.

You can then leave & re-enter the world to refill the lunch box whenever you need more.

San Fransokyo

The Chinese lunch boxes found in various districts of The City can contain Rice.

First, enter from the South District save point (choose daytime if you want to avoid enemies) and look for the giant chef’s statue nearby.

Climb on top of the hat to find a hidden lunch box up top. Hit the lunch box to randomly get Rice.

Next, head north and look for an elevated walkway near the end of the South District. Hit the lunch box on the bench at the far end of the walkway for a chance to get more Rice.

After that, head up into the Central District and look for the large circular building that looks like a cluster of circles on your minimap. Check the lunch box underneath the building to randomly find more Rice.

Lastly, enter the North District and head northwest.

Find the lunch box placed on a couple of barrels below the overpass to obtain Rice randomly.
