Strawberries are a special ingredient that you can only receive after completing the Strawberry Flan challenge. The flan challenges are a part of the Flantastic Seven sidequest.

The Strawberry Flan appears after completing the storyline of Toy Box.

Land at the Rest Area save point and look behind the couches at the western end to find a giant strawberry.

Examine the strawberry and the Strawberry Flan will appear.

The Flan will challenge you to a minigame where you have to stack mini flans together to form a tower.

The higher the tower, the more points you’ll get.

• Score at least 8,500 to earn a single Strawberry
• Hit the high score of 17,000 to get three Strawberries (and an ability on the first try)

Quick Tips

Avoid the rolling strawberries: Keep a lookout for flans rolling on giant strawberries. While you’re stacking the flans, these giant strawberries will keep rolling across your path.

Getting hit by one of these strawberries will break your flan tower. Keep changing course and stay out of their way or your flan tower won’t reach the height you need to get the high score.

Catch the flans on balloons: You can spot a few flans floating around the area stringed to a bunch of balloons. Stacking these flans will give you bonus points.

You can catch the balloon flans once your tower is high enough to touch them. Just get close enough and bump into them to add them to your stack.

Watch out for the ceiling: After your tower has reached a certain height, you’ll be at risk of running into the second floor ceiling near the outer edge. A good chunk of the flan tower will come cascading down as soon as you hit the ceiling.

Once you’re tall enough, just keep to the central area and let the timer run out to complete the challenge.
