Fluorite is one of the special synthesis materials introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3.
You can find most Fluorite that you’d need across different treasure chests in various worlds, or earn it as treasure sphere rewards in the Gummi Ship routes.
Alternatively, Fluorite can also be farmed in the Starlight Way Gummi Ship route by breaking the glowing blue asteroids.

Starlight Way Farming
Fluorite does not drop from any enemies in the game.
Instead, you can obtain it by blowing up blue asteroids in the Starlight Way route on your Gummi Ship.
Enter the route from the world map by choosing any embarking point within the first set of worlds.

Then fly in any direction and look for grey asteroids with blue glowing veins clustered together.
They are usually found around large battleships or other mechanical structures found throughout the zone.

Approach these rocks and just start shooting at them non-stop.
These asteroids drop a number of items, including the Fluorite.
Since they only have a 2.5% chance of dropping Fluorite, you will have to destroy multiple blue asteroid clusters in order to gather a decent amount.

Using Fluorite
Fluorite is required for two recipes, and you must have at least 2 of them in total to synthesize at least one copy of each recipe.
For keychain upgrades of thirteen Keyblades, you must have a total of 31 Fluorites.
