Frost Shards

Frost Shards are the most abundant of the Frost materials in KH3. These can be easily farmed in Arendelle, although they are only dropped by Winterhorns. You’ll find these creatures around the Snowfields area in Arendelle.

You can also buy Frost Shards from the Moogle Shop after collecting 30 of them from drops.

Arendelle Farming Route

Warp into the world from the Foothills save point and head north.

You will arrive in the Snowfields, where you can find Winterhorns along with some Satyrs and Helmed Bodies when you reach the center of the area.

These deer-like Heartless attack by either charging at you or shooting icicles from the distance.

Using fire spells disperses them and breaks their horns, making them less aggressive.

Just ignore the rest of the enemies and focus on the Winterhorns.

Clear them out and repeat the process a few times by exiting and re entering the zone. With a 16% drop rate, you can collect a ton of Frost Shards from Winterhorns in no time.

Tip: Alternatively, you can also obtain Frost Shards by hitting the tiny bushes scattered all over Arendelle.

Just make your way around the area, fighting Winterhorns and smack all the tiny bushes that come your way to add some extra shards to your haul.

Using Frost Shards

Frost Shards are required for four recipes, and you must have at least 21 shards in total to synthesize at least one of each recipe.
