Chief Puffs in the Kingdom of Corona have one of the highest drop rates for Lucid Stones, so these are probably the best option for farming if you just want a lot of these items fast.

But note that other common enemies, like Air Soldiers, can also drop Lucid Stones so you definitely have options when it comes to farming this material.

Note: Lucid Stones can be purchased from the Moogle shop after collecting at least 25 of them from drops.

Kingdom of Corona Farming Route

Land at the Tower save point in the Forest area.

Enter the cave behind you and follow the tunnel towards a vine covered exit.

You will reach the Hills area.

Here, head north-west and keep going forward. In the first clearing, four Chief Puffs will appear. These flower-like Heartless have giant balls of wool growing over their beady-eyed heads & they can drop Lucid Stones for you.

Farming Chief Puffs for Lucid Stones requires a specific strategy.

You need to defeat them as fast as you can and swiftly move on to the next batch.

To do this efficiently, exploit their weakness to wind magic. Spam your aero magic and you can take out entire groups at a time.

If the fight drags on, they will summon Puff Balls to form a tower, changing their attacks and material drops entirely so you want to take them out fast.

But interestingly enough, aero magic will instantly dismantle the tower.

After defeating the first batch, keep going north past the Hills save point and you will encounter three to four groups of Chief Puffs around the area.

Make repeat runs between the Hills and Tower save points to repeat the farm.

With a 12% drop rate, Chief Puffs can easily become your primary target for Lucid Shard farming, depending on how good you get at dispatching them quickly.

Battlegate 7

Just like Lucid Shards, you can farm Lucid Stones from Battlegate 7 during the end game.

Battlegates will appear in every world after you’ve finished the main story.

Battlegate 7 is located in the Kingdom of Corona. Enter from the Tower save point and head into the cave behind you.

Exit the tunnel and enter the Hills area.

Immediately, you will come across a giant Flan.

Ignore it, and turn to the right and keep going north.

Just a little ways ahead, you’ll spot the round blue crystal under a tree, which is the entrance to Battlegate 7.

Using Lucid Stones

Lucid Stones are required for eight recipes, and you must have at least 27 stones in total to synthesize at least one of each recipe.
