Mythril Stones cannot be farmed from enemies or purchased in KH3. Instead, you obtain them by breaking various objects in different worlds, destroying asteroids on Gummi Ship routes, or by opening specific treasure chests.

The best farming spot for Mythril Stones is in the Starlight Way Gummi Ship route.

Starlight Way

You can farm Mythril Stones while traveling on your Gummi Ship in the Starlight Way route.

Open the World Map and embark on your Gummi Ship. You can access the Starlight Way route around the first set of worlds.

Enter the route and search around for shimmering blue asteroids (pictured below).

These space rocks are usually found near large battleships or space stations.

Start shooting at these rocks with your full artillery.

Blue asteroids drop a number of items, including the Mythril Stones. However, they only have a 2% chance of dropping them so you will need to destroy entire clusters to gather a decent amount.

Clear the route and re-enter from any point in the map for a repeat run.

Note: You can also obtain Mythril Stones from other Gummi Ship routes but at a much lower drop rate.

Montropolis Farming (optional)

You can also obtain Mythril Stones as environment drops in Monstropolis. Here’s how:

Enter from the Basement save point.

Then look for trash cans scattered around the area.

Hitting these trash cans will occasionally give you Mythril Stones.

Make your way up from the Basement and smash any trash you get your hands on.

Other than the Power Plant, you will find trash cans in most areas of Monstropolis. After a few laps around different areas, you’ll end up with a good stash of Mythril Stones for your collection.

Return from any save point to reset all breakable objects in the area.

Since you can also obtain Mythril Gems from these trash cans, make sure to unequip all your Lucky Strikes for the game to prioritize the stones over gems.
