  • Battlegate 6 (Kingdom of Corona)

The easiest place to farm Pulsing Stones is in the Kingdom of Corona. Earth Cores found in Corona offer the highest drop rates for Pulsing Stones, but figuring out the right timing for attacks is key to getting those stones to drop.

Once you’ve gathered 25 Pulsing Stones in the field, you can unlock them for purchase in the Moogle Shop.

Kingdom of Corona Farming Route

Enter from the Campsite save point and head north into the Wetlands.

When you reach the first opening, four Earth Cores will appear, along with a couple of Water cores.

These Heartless look like large, floating hedgehogs with wide, monstrous faces.

The Earth Cores are impervious to physical attacks on their spiked backs, so either hit them right on their mouths or target them with magical attacks from afar.

Dodge and use magic attacks when they become sand-like and charge from underground.

They also have a tower form, which significantly increases their HP and changes their material drops entirely.

In this state, they are completely useless for Pulsing Stone farming so make sure you take them out before they converge into a tower.

After defeating the first group, check the minimap and head southwest, where you can spot a cave entrance under the rocks. Head inside to find several more Earth Cores.

Prioritize area of effect magical attacks to defeat Earth Cores before they transform into towers.

They have a 10% chance of dropping Pulsing Stones, so taking out whole groups at once can earn you a decent number of stones after a few runs.

Return from different areas or warp back from the closest save point & re-enter the world to make them respawn.

Battlegate 6

You can farm Pulsing Stones at Battlegate 6 much faster in the end game.

After finishing the main story, you can access Battlegates where you can fight enemy hordes for rewards. Here’s how to reach Battlegate 6:

Enter from the Wildflower Clearing save point and head west into the Wetlands.
