Twilight Crystals
Dropped By
  • Gambler (6%)
  • Sorcerer (80%)
Also Obtained By
  • Breaking barrels in The Caribbean (very rare)
Best Farming Spot
  • The Caribbean – Port Royal/Dockway Path
  • Battlegate 9 (Arendelle)

Twilight Crystals can only be farmed in The Caribbean world in KH3. They are extremely rare and are only dropped by the Gambler nobodies.

Twilight crystals cannot be bought or synthesized at the Moogle Shop, so you will just have to acquire them through regular farming.

The Caribbean Farming Route

Warp in from the Fort save point and head south.

Just a little ways on, four Gamblers will appear over a bridge along with a large group of Heartless.

Gamblers wear pink and white suits with their upper and lower halves moving independently of each other. They are always twiddling a bunch of cards and dice in each hand.

Since they have a very low 6% chance of dropping Twilight Crystals, your best course of action would be to take them out in groups.

They are weak to thunder magic, so use Thundaga as much as you can.

Just load a bunch of Ethers and Hi-Ethers in your shortcut menu and keep spamming Thundaga to your heart’s content.

Another group of Gamblers appear in the Dockway Path, west of the settlement.

Note that Twilight Crystals are not easy to come by, and you will have to make a fair few runs around the area to gather a respectable amount.

To repeat the farming route just leave the world and warp in at the Fort area again to repeat the run.

Battlegate 9

Farming Twilight Crystals gets much easier during the end-game.

You can farm them at Battlegate 9, which is in the Labyrinth of Ice in Arendelle.

Enter from the Gorge save point and examine the giant blue orb to teleport into the Labyrinth of Ice.

Once here, spin around the ice pillar behind you using Flowmotion to take the platform down into the Middle Tier.

The Middle Tier is a long passageway going upwards.

Proceed through the corridors while ignoring any detours.

Break the ice walls that come your way but only pass through the ones that are continuing upwards with stairs.

At the end, you will reach the chamber that houses the crystal orb entrance to Battlegate 9.

Note: You can also obtain Twilight Crystals from the Sorcerer Nobody that only appears as a single mini-boss at the end of Battlegate 3. It has an astounding 80% chance of dropping Twilight Crystals; however, you can only obtain a maximum of one on every run of that battlegate.
