Twilight Gems

Twilight Gems can be only farmed in The Caribbean world in Kingdom Hearts 3. They are dropped by the Gambler nobodies exclusively found in the Caribbean.

Note: You need to collect 20 Twilight Gems on the field before you can unlock them for purchase at the Moogle Shop.

The Caribbean Farming Route

Land at the Settlement save point and head towards the western edge of town.

From here, go north until you reach the Dockside Path area.

When you reach the first clearing, four Gamblers will appear.

These high-tier nobodies look as if a set of clothes are bewitched to move around.

Their upper and lower parts move independently of each other. They carry a set of cards and a couple of dice in each hand.

Gamblers attack using a spinning card attack that you can dodge with proper timing.

They also throw giant dice at you, which you can just hit to toss back towards them.

They are weak against electric magic, so use Thundagas indiscriminately.

After taking out the first group, head towards the Fort and four more will appear over a bridge.

Gamblers only spawn in this one particular area in The Caribbean. And while their numbers aren’t that high, you can make up for it by quickly dispatching whole groups at a time using Thundaga.

With a decent 12% drop rate for Twilight gems, you can amass a good haul from them after a few repeated runs around the area.

To farm more, just travel back and forth between the Settlement and Fort save points to have them respawn.

Environment Gems in The Caribbean (Optional)

A good number of Twilight Gems can also be found within the environment in The Caribbean.

From the settlement save point, head towards the western edge of the town. When you arrive at the end of the last lane of houses, wall run over any of them and drop down into a back alley.

This area is stacked with crates and barrels everywhere.

Just start smashing all the barrels, and you can acquire a decent number of Twilight Gems from these barrels.

Just fast travel back into the area using your ship to reset the barrels every time.

Battlegate 9

Twilight Gems can be farmed in Battlegate 9, located in Arendelle. Battlegates are enemy gauntlets that appear throughout the worlds after completing the main storyline.

Battlegate 9 is located within the Labyrinth of Ice in Arendelle.

Land at Gorge save point and examine the large glowing orb in front of you.

This will teleport you inside the labyrinth.

From where you enter, just turn around and use flowmotion on the spiralling ice pillar to drop down into the Middle Tier.

From here, just follow the passage and only take the route with stairs going up.

At the end, you’ll enter the chamber with the blue crystal entrance to Battlegate 9.

Using Twilight Gems

Twilight Gems are required for seven recipes, and you must have at least 15 gems in total to synthesize at least one copy of each recipe.
