Kingdom Hearts 3 has a total of nine unique worlds, with a few of them being repeat worlds from previous games. The list below covers every world in the game alongside a brief description of the world itself.
Olympus
In KH3, Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive in Olympus yet again to help Hercules defend the realm from Hades, who has once again unleashed the Titans. The world in KH3 is set against the backdrop of Mount Olympus and Thebes, featuring more mythological creatures and gods in the world’s aesthetic.
Twilight Town
Twilight Town behaves as sort of a home base in KH3, though much smaller than the equivalent world in KH2. Sora and company visit here to find clues about Roxas and a way to bring him back. The world also has some other unique additions, like the addition of the Le Grand Bistrot restaurant. The town is largely peaceful, but holds secrets that tie closely to the Organization.
Kingdom of Corona
The Kingdom of Corona is the world of Tangled, where Sora meets Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. This is one of the first KH3-exclusive worlds that you’ll visit in the game. Sora helps Rapunzel escape her tower and embark on an adventure to see the floating lanterns – much like the Disney film itself!
Toy Box
In the Toy Box world, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are shrunk to toy size as they meet Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of the gang from Toy Story. They team up to find the missing toys and fight off the Heartless, all while investigating the mysterious disappearance of Andy. If you’re a Toy Story fan, then you’ll adore the background OST music in this world.
Monstropolis
Set in the world of Monsters, Inc., Sora reunites with Mike and Sulley in Monstropolis. They work together to protect Boo from the Heartless and thwart a sinister plot by Vanitas and Randall. The world features the iconic Monsters, Inc. factory layout, with most heartless designed to blend in perfectly with the world’s aesthetic.
Arendelle
Arendelle is the snow-covered world of Frozen, where Sora crosses paths with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. Elsa struggles with controlling her powers, and Sora’s group helps protect her from Heartless and from the sinister plans of Larxene. The world highlights the frozen landscapes and epic music from the movie, while adding Sora’s story into the mix.
The Caribbean
The Caribbean, based on Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, features Sora, Donald, and Goofy joining Captain Jack Sparrow. They sail the high seas, battling Heartless and searching for treasure while facing off against Davy Jones. You’ll also be able to travel to different land masses & islands via ship.
San Fransokyo
San Fransokyo is the futuristic city from Big Hero 6, where Sora teams up with Hiro, Baymax, and the rest of the Big Hero 6 team. Together, they battle Heartless and a mysterious enemy using high-tech gadgets and teamwork. The cityscape offers a day & night cycle, along with exciting battles across various skyscrapers and neon-lit streets.
100 Acre Wood
In Kingdom Hearts 3, the 100 Acre Wood returns, though this time it’s a much smaller, puzzle-filled world. Sora reunites with Pooh and his friends for a series of mini-games. While there’s no major battle or story arc here, it offers a peaceful break from the action and focuses on Sora’s bond with Pooh, Piglet, Rabbit, and the rest of the crew.
